What to Expect When Traveling to Palestine in the Summer

To spend the summer in Palestine entails hot, sunny days, beautiful scenery, and countless activities to enjoy. Every season in Palestine has its perks, but nothing can quite compare to the summer months. Most tourists find their way to Palestine during this time, as it is a convenient time of the year for most people to travel. The hustle and bustle of the West Bank during the summer is a sight to see and experience.

There will be enough to do over the summer in Palestine. There are numerous sites to visit and things to partake in during the summer months, with local students out of school and everyone longing for a holiday. When the hot, dry climate gets unbearable, visitors and residents may cool themselves in the Dead Sea. Due to its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, we also recommend that you visit places such as Jaffa and Haifa during your vacation to see the beauty of the shore.

What to Pack for Summer

Summer temperatures in Palestine vary from 27 to 35 degrees Celsius. Having said that, sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are an absolute must. If you are planning to come to cities such as Hebron, it is especially important to cover your shoulders and at least your upper arms, as well as your legs. The heat in the summer might make covering a nuisance for some overseas guests, but clothing in this manner shows tremendous respect for your hosts’ culture.

Consider the sorts of clothing you will carry to avoid overheating. Bringing breathing items will make a significant impact. International visitors might also get invites to numerous celebrations while volunteering, studying, or interning in Palestine. Packing long skirts, jeans or loose-fitting pants, long-sleeved shirts, short-sleeved shirts, light cardigans, and scarves are some alternatives for ladies.

Of course, you’ll want to keep in mind to bring your bathing suit so you can cool yourself from the heat. Naturally, the summer is a fantastic time to visit the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and have a cool swim. If you want to engage on a day trek or participate in more strenuous walking while exploring Palestine, we advise bringing along a pair of comfortable sandals and a pair of hiking or walking shoes.

Those who enjoy taking photos will want to bring their cameras on their vacation so they may record the moments they make. When you get to Palestine, you will be able to acquire any forgotten hygiene products. Your packing list may include contain books, a laptop, power adapters, and a raincoat. In general, clothing made of breathable materials and sun protection goods are the most essential items to bring for a summer in Palestine. Happy packing and we look forward to seeing you soon in Palestine
